Jakarta, 25 Mei 2026 — Fakultas IImu Sosial dan Hukum (FISH) Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) kembali menyelenggarakan Eurasia Lecturer Series 2026 sesi ke-11 dengan tema “Navigating the Uncertain Futures: Understanding the Transformative Impacts of Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization to Global Society.”
“If robots are programmed to do something, AI is programmed to think. AI learns everything. The more data we give it, the smarter it becomes,” said Prof. Rudy during the discussion. He explained that AI technology is capable of learning patterns from data, voices, faces, and human gestures, enabling it to generate digital content that closely resembles reality.
According to Prof. Rudy, this condition presents a new challenge in protecting information security and digital privacy, especially amid the development of quantum computing, which may further accelerate AI’s computational and data analysis capabilities. He emphasized that global and regional cyber threats are becoming increasingly complex and transnational, making them impossible to address through individual or sectoral efforts alone.
For this reason, Prof. Rudy stressed that cybersecurity must become a national priority in strengthening Indonesia’s digital resilience. As a response to these challenges, he proposed six national AI-based cybersecurity strategies, namely the development of national cyber talent and human resources, strengthening national cyber defense infrastructure, reinforcing cyber regulations and governance, promoting public-private partnerships in cybersecurity, enhancing regional and global strategic collaboration, and implementing the Sixware Cyber Security Framework.
During the session, Prof. Rudy also introduced the Sixware Cyber Security Framework, a cybersecurity framework he has developed since 2019. The framework integrates human resources, hardware, software, infrastructure, governance, and funding as essential components in building an adaptive and sustainable cyber defense system. He also stated that the framework is currently being pursued as a national standard through the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP).
At the end of the session, Prof. Rudy presented his book, Cyber Warfare: Sudah Siapkah Kita Menghadapinya?, to the committee and the FISH UNJ library. The book donation served as a form of support for strengthening cybersecurity literacy and academic studies within the university environment.
Through the 11th session of the Eurasia Lecturer Series 2026, participants were encouraged to recognize that the development of AI and digitalization brings not only opportunities, but also new challenges that must be anticipated collectively. The discussion reaffirmed the importance of human resource readiness, digital literacy, and cross-sector collaboration in building an adaptive cybersecurity system amid rapid global technological transformation. This session is expected to serve as a reflective and educational space for students and the academic community of FISH UNJ in understanding the dynamics of digital transformation and preparing for future challenges in the era of Artificial Intelligence (BMF/GIC/AG/FISHMed2026).
