Jakarta, April 23, 2026 — Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) held the Student Creativity Program (PKM) Exhibition at Bung Hatta Hall, Postgraduate Building, on Wednesday (April 23), as part of its efforts to disseminate community service outcomes and strengthen collaboration with various partners.

The event, hosted by an MC from Duta UNJ, was officially opened by UNJ Vice Rector I for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ifan Iskandar, M.Hum. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of sustaining collaboration between universities and partners in creating programs with broader impact. “Through activities like this, we hope UNJ will not only produce graduates who become teachers, but also continue to bring benefits to society. We thank UNJ’s partners for their willingness to keep collaborating with us, as well as related institutions that continue to support UNJ in becoming an impactful university,” he said.

The implementation of community service programs was also highlighted through performances by assisted participants, which opened the series of activities. The Manuk Bulak Dance was performed as the result of an arts training program based on popular culture for young people, while children from Rusunawa Jatinegara Kaum presented poetry and pantomime through a literacy and self-expression approach. The performances took place before the event participants and showcased the mentoring process that had been carried out, including the participants’ development in skills and self-confidence.

The main session featured presentations and a focus group discussion (FGD) highlighting various community service programs from different fields of expertise as responses to diverse and complex community needs. The programs presented included Comparative Literature Biblio-Counseling as a strategy for strengthening Pancasila student character at Rusunawa Jatinegara Kaum, the implementation of the “Nimbang Balita” anthropometric tool to support the digitalization of integrated health post services, contributions to the mentoring of Sekolah Swasta Gratis (RSSG) in Depok City, Manuk Bulak Dance training based on popular culture, and the ARUNA robotic technology innovation for the navigation and transportation of waste in the Muara Angke area.

The discussion session following the presentations took place in an active and open atmosphere, involving participants from both the academic community and partner institutions. Questions, responses, and various perspectives were shared directly during the forum, covering field implementation experiences, challenges encountered, and possibilities for program development to reach wider beneficiaries.

The FISH booth displayed various elements representing academic and community service activities, ranging from books written by lecturers and students, faculty merchandise, information on study programs, to posters of community service programs. These materials provided an overview of the academic environment at FISH and its connection to community engagement activities. booth ke booth lainnya sambil mengenal karakter dan fokus keilmuan masing-masing, sekaligus membuka ruang interaksi langsung dengan perwakilan fakultas.

Through its participation in this activity, FISH demonstrated its contribution to strengthening a collaborative community service ecosystem and expanding public access to knowledge-based innovation. This involvement also reflects UNJ’s commitment to ensuring that community service outcomes do not stop at implementation, but are also disseminated and able to provide sustainable benefits.
