Jakarta, July 16, 2026 — The Faculty of Social Sciences and Law (FISH), Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), held a discussion and signing ceremony for a Cooperation Agreement with PT Sixware. Conducted in Room 212 on the second floor of Building K, FISH UNJ, the event marked an initial step toward establishing a strategic partnership in technology, particularly cybersecurity and human resource development.
The event was attended by the Dean of FISH UNJ, Firdaus Wajdi, M.A., Ph.D.; Vice Dean Dr. E. Nugrahaeni P., M.Si.; and the Founder of PT Sixware, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rudy Agus Gemilang Gultom, M.Sc., CEH., CIQaR., IPM., ASEAN Eng., along with representatives from the company.
The event began with remarks from the Dean of FISH UNJ, who expressed his appreciation for the establishment of the partnership. He conveyed his hope that the collaboration between FISH UNJ and PT Sixware would generate tangible benefits, particularly by supporting the development of students’ competencies through programs aligned with the evolving demands of the professional world and technological advancement.
The session continued with a presentation by Prof. Dr. Ir. Rudy Agus Gemilang Gultom, M.Sc., CEH., CIQaR., IPM., ASEAN Eng., who introduced PT Sixware as a company specializing in cybersecurity frameworks. He explained that the company provides a wide range of services, including information technology consulting, professional training, application development, technology project implementation, and the development of information infrastructure and security systems.
Prof. Rudy also emphasized the importance of collaboration between industry and higher education institutions in preparing human resources capable of responding to rapid technological developments. He stated that the partnership should extend beyond the formal signing of the agreement and be implemented through concrete programs, including training, competency development, research, and innovation initiatives that benefit students and both institutions.
Following the discussion session, the event proceeded with the signing of the Cooperation Agreement by the Director of PT Sixware and the Dean of FISH UNJ. The signing represented the commitment of both parties to developing a sustainable and mutually beneficial partnership.
The event concluded with a group photo symbolizing the beginning of a strategic partnership between PT Sixware and the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The collaboration reinforces FISH UNJ’s commitment to serving not only as a center for the advancement of social sciences and law, but also as a forward-looking faculty that responds proactively to digital transformation and the increasingly complex challenges of cybersecurity. Through the implementation of professional training, competency development, collaborative research, and innovation programs, the partnership is expected to contribute to the achievement of SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. It is also aligned with Key Performance Indicator 5 of the Diktisaintek Berdampak framework, which focuses on increasing the outputs and downstream utilization of partnerships between higher education institutions and industry or other organizations. Through this collaboration, FISH UNJ seeks to deliver industry-relevant learning, strengthen students’ readiness for the professional world, and develop technology-driven solutions that generate measurable benefits for society.
