OPMAWA FISH UNJ General Assembly 2025/2026 Officially Convened, Marks Performance Evaluation and Leadership Regeneration

Jakarta, January 31, 2026 — The Faculty of Social Sciences (FISH) of Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) officially held the OPMAWA FISH UNJ General Assembly 2025/2026, organized by the Student Legislative Board (BPM FISH UNJ). The event took place at the Maftuchah Hall, Dewi Sartika Building, 2nd Floor, and served as the highest deliberative forum for evaluating the performance of the Student Executive Board (BEM) and the Student Legislative Board (BPM) throughout one term of office.

Jakarta, January 31, 2026 — The Faculty of Social Sciences (FISH) of Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) officially held the OPMAWA FISH UNJ General Assembly 2025/2026, organized by the Student Legislative Board (BPM FISH UNJ). The event took place at the Maftuchah Hall, Dewi Sartika Building, 2nd Floor, and served as the highest deliberative forum for evaluating the performance of the Student Executive Board (BEM) and the Student Legislative Board (BPM) throughout one term of office. The first address was delivered by Hanif Fatsya, President of BEM FISH UNJ for the 2025/2026 term. In his remarks, Hanif expressed his sincere apologies for any shortcomings or mistakes that occurred during his leadership, whether intentional or unintentional. He encouraged all BEM members to continuously seek learning opportunities through organizational involvement and emphasized the importance of using the evaluation of the 2025/2026 term as a foundation for improving performance in the upcoming 2026/2027 period.

This was followed by a speech from Priyo Arif Wicaksono, Chairperson of BPM FISH UNJ for the 2025/2026 term. He expressed his gratitude to all participants and highlighted that the General Assembly represents the highest forum stipulated in OPMAWA’s organizational regulations. He outlined the main agenda items, which included accountability reports from the FISH UNJ Election Commission (KPU), election organizers and supervisors (KPU and Panwaslu), accountability reports from both the executive and legislative bodies, the inauguration of newly elected officials, and the demissionary remarks of the 2025/2026 board members.

The assembly was officially opened with remarks from Dr. Kurniawati, M.Si., Vice Dean I of FISH UNJ, who conveyed her appreciation to both BEM and BPM FISH UNJ for their contributions throughout the term. She emphasized the importance of continuous evaluation to ensure that previous shortcomings are not repeated in the next period and expressed her hope that the General Assembly would proceed smoothly and be carried out with success.

The General Assembly then proceeded to its main sessions, which included the adoption of the meeting agenda and rules of procedure, forum verification, and the presentation of the Election Implementation Report by the Election Supervisory Committee (Panwaslu) and the General Election Commission (KPU). Accountability reports from each BEM FISH UNJ department were also presented, along with program performance evaluations overseen by Supervisory Commission II (Kompeng II).

In line with the establishment of the Law Study Program within FISH UNJ, the Assembly also ratified and inaugurated members of the Student Legislative Body of the Law Study Program (BLMP Ilmu Hukum) for the 2026/2027 term, including the administration of the organizational oath. This was followed by the ratification and inauguration of the Student Executive Board of the Law Study Program (BEMP Ilmu Hukum) for the 2026/2027 term. 

The Assembly further ratified and inaugurated members of the BPM FISH UNJ for the 2026/2027 term, followed by the formal endorsement of the Chairperson of BPM FISH UNJ for the upcoming period. The session concluded with the ratification and inauguration of the President and Vice President of BEM FISH UNJ for the 2026/2027 term as the new executive leadership.

The General Assembly was officially closed by the presiding officers after confirming that all participants had acknowledged and accepted the accountability reports of BEM and BPM FISH UNJ for the 2025/2026 term. The event concluded with a closing prayer and the formal demission of the outgoing executive and legislative leaders.

Through the successful convening of the OPMAWA FISH UNJ General Assembly 2025/2026, the faculty anticipates the emergence of a new generation of student leaders who are progressive, accountable, and capable of strengthening student organizations within FISH UNJ—making them more cohesive, responsive, and committed to student capacity development in the coming term.
