The session was organized as part of the faculty’s effort to deepen its understanding and optimize the implementation of KPIs as a benchmark for institutional performance at the faculty level.

The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Firdaus Wajdi, M.A., Ph.D., who emphasized in his remarks the importance of a shared understanding of KPIs as part of efforts to improve academic and institutional performance within the faculty.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) serve as an instrument used by universities to measure performance achievements in the implementation of the three pillars of higher education (Tridharma): education, research, and community service. Within the context of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, discussions on KPIs are particularly important as they are directly related to efforts to enhance academic quality, develop research activities, and strengthen the faculty’s contribution to society.

Through this discussion, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law aims to strengthen the understanding of performance indicators used in evaluating university performance, while also aligning existing programs and activities within the faculty with the targeted KPI achievements. This initiative is expected to encourage study programs, working units, and all members of the academic community within FISH to actively contribute to improving educational quality and institutional performance.

The session also served as a forum for discussion to evaluate various initiatives that have been implemented and to formulate strategies that can support the achievement of KPI targets within the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law. Through this initiative, it is expected that the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law at Universitas Negeri Jakarta will continue to enhance the quality of the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education and strengthen its contribution to the advancement of knowledge and service to society (NR & GS).
